Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty

Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty
The procedure is based on the Plexr treatment, which uses matter’s fourth state, plasma, to create a series of minuscule dots on the client’s skin, triggering instant contraction/tightening of fibres in the skin and subsequently resulting in a rejuvenating, lifting and remodelling effect. Far less invasive than diathermy of laser treatments, the principle of this plasma treatment involves ionisation of gases within the air to generate small electrical ‘arcs’. These ‘arcs’ can be used (without the risk of damage or application of unwanted heat to surrounding areas) to treat targeted areas of concern.
Who can have Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty?
This treatment is suitable for men and women with bags, loose skin on the lower or upper eye or droopy lids. Unlike some light or laser based treatments, it is suitable for all skin types. A thorough initial consultation with Dr Wakil is necessary to assess whether this procedure is the right solution for a client.
Duration, Pain and Recovery Time
A far less invasive treatment than surgery, which is also associated with risks, Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty takes on average around 30 minutes to perform and has minimal down/recovery time. Clients may experience some redness and swelling that can last for up to two days in the treated area. There will also be some ‘crusting’ of the treated area’s skin. This should disappear within around 5 to 7 days. As this ‘crusting’ can be hidden by concealer foundation, it should not stop clients from returning to work/normal daily routines within 3 to 4 days max.
